Other Kickstarter games you're supporting / interested in?

All that other stuff.

I just spotted the Kaptain Brawe 2 on Kickstarter!
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/67 ... -ince-stor

The first game in the series was great. It'll be interesting to see what they could do with a larger budget, full voice-over, and expanded music.

I love sci-fi and old-school point and click adventures. I figure those attributes are a good overlap with the Star Crawlers community. :)

You want your descendants to live in a world like StarCrawlers? Have them travel between the stars and colonize new planets? Then you need to back this project, because if the children of today are not educated in astronomy and space sciences, who would be interested in building Space Ships to leave the earth?

So this is not a game, but a project worth your money: Universe in a Box

Inspiring every child with our wonderful Universe (in a Box)

Children across the globe find space the most interesting topic in school but educators often lack the resources and training to engage kids in this exciting subject. We want to educate schoolchildren around the world in astronomy and space sciences by training teachers and sending them a really cool interactive teaching resource: Universe in a Box!

Universe in a Box is a physical toolbox for teachers and educators that makes teaching astronomy and space sciences to 4-10 year old children effective, engaging and fun.

Pledge now and receive astronomy kits for your classroom. With your pledge we send the boxes to where they're needed most: underprivileged schools around the world, building a global network of education communities.

A Kickstarter campaign is active for Insomnia , a post-apocalyptic, "diesel punk" RPG with RTwP combat (e.g., Baldur's Gate, DA: O, etc.). Has some really nice graphics and sounds quite ambitious, promising non-linear quests with multiple solutions.

Also, Unrest, an RPG set in Ancient India (release date: July 23rd) now has a demo available on Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/292400

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/wh ... he-dwarves

I came across this KS from another KS which I won't name **

We are Dwarves perked my interest and is also on greenlight

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... ext=we+are

from the home page

The game is about a trio of dwarves in the Universe of the Eternal Stone. Depending on player's tactics, characters can either fight or hide from their enemies. The hostile creatures have real “senses”. They can hear you, they can see you, they can even track your scent. Our world has so many mysteries, that you just NEED to be part of it all.

they are asking for $120,000 and raised $26,568 with 36 day to go

this game does look pretty good, but I also think the goal might be a little high for a unknown company, however, the person doing PR has commented a lot, and seem to be answering questions,

I have asked a few questions about game length, modding / steamwork support, roadmap for beta access, DLC plans, I will update when I get a reply,

but the game from the video really does look good, there is a lot of info on their home page, and the artwork looks good,

I really hope it gets funded

**the other KS iis nothing short of a scam, I won't name it because its ran by a bunch of monkeys that have no idea how to run a KS, but that is all I will say about the other one,

but if you really want to know about the other one and want a chuckle then ask, just don't give this crooks anymore money

Two Kickstarters I'm currently supporting are:

Hard West- a turn-based strategy game with RPG elements, set in the "Weird West": https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/17 ... /hard-west

Age of Grit- an RPG set in Steampunk / Wild West setting: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/iq ... ampunk-rpg

Today I want to show you a small game from a Ukrainian developer.

Game is called "inverto" and it is a puzzle game in a scifi scenario, played from ego perspective. It's a little bit like portal.

You are in a space station have to get out. or something like this. With the help of a gun and special tiles you can change the direction of the gravity to walk towards the exit.

You can download a public alpha or play it with the unity webplayer for free. But you can suport the dev by buying it on desura (3 Euro) and maybe later on steam.

I like the simple scifyish style. Check it out! Pictures, Videos and more:

PS: The music is also nice :)

And some more:

Scoundrels Guild: A Tale of Thieves (an adventure game with RPG elements where players take on the role of a thief)

Star Traders 2 An open world universe RPG where you are captain of a space ship.

ok folks, let's show some love to these other sunny California developers ... Spellbind Studios is running a campaign for their roguelike called Rogue Wizards:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/18 ... g-game-rpg

I know Dablue is onboard, but we need some new backers to push the game to (and over) the objective...

take a look at some of the early alpha content, and I think you'll be impressed with how polished the game already is...

thanks folks! :)

edit: shameless plug for my YT channel... first up is an "indie insight" for Rogue Wizards, but I have videos for Stonehearth, Starcrawlers and RimWorld on tap! :)

Shadowrun: Hong Kong is now live on Kickstarter. Dragonfall Director's Cut was one of my favorite video games of all time so this one is a no-brainer for me. I hope for SR:HK to be even bigger and better still.
